  5. Amoszine has many options, it is
  6. used by mouse and/or keyboard.
  7.  
  8. The Index contains a full list of all
  9. the Articles available.  You will also
  10. notice that the Index has a number of
  11. pages that can be flipped through.
  12.  
  13. (This can be checked by looking at the
  14. top right of the screen when you have
  15. selected @3INDEX @5from the panel).
  16.  
  17. @3LOADING @1- @5Loading an Article from the
  18. Index is as easy as clicking on it
  19. with the mouse button.
  20.  
  21. If an Article can be loaded, it will
  22. be hi-lighted when the pointer is over
  23. it.  (You can choose to press @1<Return>
  24. @5instead of pressing the mouse keys!

  29. When an Article has loaded, you can
  30. check to see how many pages it has by
  31. looking at the top right of the
  32. screen.

  35. eg.  Page 1 of 10

  38. At the top of the screen you will also
  39. see how much memory is still available
  40. to the system.

  42. There is also a clock up there to let
  43. you know how long you have been using
  44. AZ for.

  49. @3INDEX @1- @5This displays the index.  It
  50. can be selected from the control panel
  51. or by pressing  @1<ESC>@5.  Obviously you
  52. will only need to use this option when
  53. you have an Article or IFF loaded.

  56. @3MUSIC @1- @5This will toggle the music
  57. on and off. It can be selected from
  58. the panel or by pressing @1<S>@5.

  61. @3PRINT @1- @5This will only become
  62. available when an article has loaded.
  63. It can be selected from the panel or
  64. by pressing @1<P>@5.

  67. @3FIRST @1- @5This option will display
  68. either the first Index Page or Article
  69. Page depending on which one is being
  70. displayed on the screen.  It can be
  71. selected via the control panel or by
  72. pressing the @1<Up Cursor Key>@5.
  73. @3LAST @1- @5This option will display either
  74. the last Index Page or Article Page
  75. depending on which one is being
  76. displayed on the screen.  It can be
  77. selected via the control panel or by
  78. pressing the @1<Down Cursor Key> @5on
  79. the keyboard.

  81. @3GOTO @1- @5This option will display any
  82. Index Page or Article Page depending
  83. on which one is being displayed on the
  84. screen.  It can be selected via the
  85. control panel or by pressing the @1
  86. <SPACE BAR> @5on the keyboard.  Then
  87. just type in the page you want to jump
  88. to and press @1<Return>@5.

  90. @3NEXT @1- @5This option will display either
  91. the next Index Page or Article Page
  92. depending on which one being displayed
  93. on the screen.  It can be selected via
  94. the control panel or by pressing the
  95. @1<Right Cursor Key> @5on the keyboard.

  97. @3PREV @1- @5This option will display either
  98. the previous Index Page or Article
  99. Page depending on which one is being
  100. displayed on the screen.  It can be
  101. selected via the control panel or by
  102. pressing the @1<Left Cursor Key> @5on
  103. the keyboard.

  105. @3HELP @1- @5Will Display a quick help
  106. screen. This can be quit by pressing
  107. a mouse key.  It can be selected from
  108. the keyboard only by pressing Hmmmm
  109. @1<HELP>@5.

  111. @3MUSIC @1- @5If there is enough space
  112. on the disk, up to nine different mods
  113. can be loaded by pressing @1<1 to 9>@5.

  115. @3COLOURS @1- @5The coloured text shown
  116. on articles can now be toggled on/off
  117. by pressing @1<C>@5.  Try it just now.

  121. @3NB @1- @5IFF pictures do NOT have a
  122. selection of pages !  Therefore the
  123. @3NEXT@5, @3PREV@5, @3FIRST@5, @3LAST @5& @3GOTO @5options
  124. wont work when an IFF picture is being
  125. displayed on the screen.  You cannot
  126. print pictures from the current issue
  127. of Amoszine !

  129. @3SECRET @1- @5This option will let you type
  130. in a password to access some secret
  131. messages !  You need to know the
  132. correct password before gaining entry
  133. to the messages !  It can be selected
  134. via the Index only and you will be
  135. prompted to enter the password.

  137. @3LHA FILES @1- @5Users of large memory
  138. Amiga's may like to know that you can
  139. de-archive all the LHA files on this
  140. disk straight from AZ !  Simply press
  141. @1<F10> @5and the LHA screen will appear
  142. on the screen.  Full details can be
  143. found in another file on this disk.

  145. @3SCROLL TEXT @1- @5The scroller at the
  146. bottom of the screen can be toggled
  147. on/off by pressing @1<Z> @5at any time.
  148.  
  149. @3QUIT @1- @5This gives the option to quit
  150. Amoszine, returning you to the CLI or
  151. Workbench, depending where you loaded
  152. it from.  It can be selected from the
  153. control panel or by pressing 
  154. @1<Shift & Esc>@5.
