Amoszine has many options, it is
used by mouse and/or keyboard.
The Index contains a full list of all
the Articles available. You will also
notice that the Index has a number of
pages that can be flipped through.
(This can be checked by looking at the
top right of the screen when you have
selected @3INDEX @5from the panel).
@3LOADING @1- @5Loading an Article from the
Index is as easy as clicking on it
with the mouse button.
If an Article can be loaded, it will
be hi-lighted when the pointer is over
it. (You can choose to press @1<Return>
@5instead of pressing the mouse keys!
When an Article has loaded, you can
check to see how many pages it has by
looking at the top right of the
screen.

eg. Page 1 of 10

At the top of the screen you will also
see how much memory is still available
to the system.
There is also a clock up there to let
you know how long you have been using
AZ for.
@3INDEX @1- @5This displays the index. It
can be selected from the control panel
or by pressing @1<ESC>@5. Obviously you
will only need to use this option when
you have an Article or IFF loaded.
@3MUSIC @1- @5This will toggle the music
on and off. It can be selected from
the panel or by pressing @1<S>@5.
@3PRINT @1- @5This will only become
available when an article has loaded.
It can be selected from the panel or
by pressing @1<P>@5.
@3FIRST @1- @5This option will display
either the first Index Page or Article
Page depending on which one is being
displayed on the screen. It can be
selected via the control panel or by
pressing the @1<Up Cursor Key>@5.
@3LAST @1- @5This option will display either
the last Index Page or Article Page
depending on which one is being
displayed on the screen. It can be
selected via the control panel or by
pressing the @1<Down Cursor Key> @5on
the keyboard.
@3GOTO @1- @5This option will display any
Index Page or Article Page depending
on which one is being displayed on the
screen. It can be selected via the
control panel or by pressing the @1
<SPACE BAR> @5on the keyboard. Then
just type in the page you want to jump
to and press @1<Return>@5.
@3NEXT @1- @5This option will display either
the next Index Page or Article Page
depending on which one being displayed
on the screen. It can be selected via
the control panel or by pressing the
@1<Right Cursor Key> @5on the keyboard.
@3PREV @1- @5This option will display either
the previous Index Page or Article
Page depending on which one is being
displayed on the screen. It can be
selected via the control panel or by
pressing the @1<Left Cursor Key> @5on
the keyboard.
@3HELP @1- @5Will Display a quick help
screen. This can be quit by pressing
a mouse key. It can be selected from
the keyboard only by pressing Hmmmm
@1<HELP>@5.
@3MUSIC @1- @5If there is enough space
on the disk, up to nine different mods
can be loaded by pressing @1<1 to 9>@5.
@3COLOURS @1- @5The coloured text shown
on articles can now be toggled on/off
by pressing @1<C>@5. Try it just now.
@3NB @1- @5IFF pictures do NOT have a
selection of pages ! Therefore the
@3NEXT@5, @3PREV@5, @3FIRST@5, @3LAST @5& @3GOTO @5options
wont work when an IFF picture is being
displayed on the screen. You cannot
print pictures from the current issue
of Amoszine !
@3SECRET @1- @5This option will let you type
in a password to access some secret
messages ! You need to know the
correct password before gaining entry
to the messages ! It can be selected
via the Index only and you will be
prompted to enter the password.
@3LHA FILES @1- @5Users of large memory
Amiga's may like to know that you can
de-archive all the LHA files on this
disk straight from AZ ! Simply press
@1<F10> @5and the LHA screen will appear
on the screen. Full details can be
found in another file on this disk.
@3SCROLL TEXT @1- @5The scroller at the
bottom of the screen can be toggled
on/off by pressing @1<Z> @5at any time.
@3QUIT @1- @5This gives the option to quit
Amoszine, returning you to the CLI or
Workbench, depending where you loaded
it from. It can be selected from the
control panel or by pressing
@1<Shift & Esc>@5.
